Learning Curriculum

Your path to Quran mastery

Six structured stages, from your first Arabic letter to an Ijazah certification. Each milestone is designed by certified scholars who understand how Quranic knowledge is transmitted, not just taught.

How it works

A path built for every learner

Whether you are picking up the Quran for the first time or preparing for Ijazah certification, every stage is designed to meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.

Start anywhere

Begin at the stage that matches your current level. Your tutor assesses where you are and places you accordingly, no need to repeat what you already know.

Learn at your pace

Each stage has a session estimate, not a deadline. You move forward when you are ready, with your tutor guiding every step.

Build with purpose

Every stage builds on the one before it. Skills compound: what you learn in Tajweed Foundations powers your Hifz and your Ijazah preparation.

The curriculum

Six stages from beginner to mastery

Each stage builds on the previous one. You can enter at any stage based on your current level, your tutor will assess and place you.

Common questions

About the curriculum

Which stage should I start from?

Your first session with any Qalam tutor includes a level assessment. The tutor will listen to your recitation, discuss what you have studied before, and recommend the right stage. You do not need to start from Noorani Qaida if you already read Arabic, you can enter at any stage.

How long does each stage actually take?

The session estimates are based on typical student progress at 2-3 sessions per week. Your pace depends on your schedule, practice outside sessions, and prior experience. Some students move faster; others benefit from more time on particular topics. There are no fixed deadlines.

Can I switch tutors between stages?

Yes. Every stage is self-contained enough that a new tutor can pick up where your previous tutor left off. Your session notes and progress are recorded in your dashboard, so any verified tutor on the platform can see where you are.

Do I need to complete all six stages?

No. Each stage is valuable on its own. Many students complete Noorani Qaida and Juz Amma and are satisfied with their reading ability. Others go further. The curriculum is a map, you decide how far you travel.
